What will you learn in the first aid course at Fahrschule Star?
The first aid course for motorcycles and cars initially teaches you general behaviors in accidents, emergencies, and during rescues. You will specifically learn about hazards, such as proper behavior in dangerous transports, electricity, or other situations. During the NHK, we will also practice how to communicate with the injured or accident victim and how to check their vital signs.
Other topics covered in the first aid course include injuries, severe bleeding, and shock. You will also learn everything you need to know about head, bone, and joint injuries. In the first aid course for the driving test, we address situations where you encounter individuals whose consciousness is impaired, whose breathing and circulation are affected, and who are at risk of choking. We also cover burns and frostbite, as well as hypothermia, heat stroke, heat exhaustion, poisonings, and chemical burns, which are part of the motorcycle first aid course. We also deal with hypoglycemia and seizures, heart attacks and strokes, as well as asthma and the use of automated external defibrillators.
